The Swatch Group Services Ltd is a dynamic Swatch Group company that provides high-quality services to Group organizations worldwide in the fields of logistics, information technology, customer service and real estate, as well as a major IT competence center for our 17 brands, distributed in 50 countries.

Services IT

At Swatch Group, information technology (IT) has always been an essential factor in the development and implementation of the company's business strategy and its brands. In early 2011, Swatch Group therefore decided to create a new division within the Swatch Group Services organization, focused on the management and development of IT within the company.

Today, Swatch Group IT Services employs IT specialists in Switzerland and around the world, whose aim is to support and develop the IT tools and systems that underpin Swatch Group's business processes. Swatch Group IT Services manages the very heart of the Swatch Group IT network, as well as its data processing centers, its global network and, in general, all the main IT systems of its companies - in particular their commercial and production systems - financial systems, as well as all its main IT tools, from e-commerce platforms to retail applications.

European Distribution Center

Swatch Group Services has set up the European Distribution Center (EDC), replacing the various local warehouses and information systems with a common distribution platform. Three central warehouses are currently in use in Europe. Twelve brands and sixteen national companies benefit from the services offered by the EDC, which handles several million watches, jewelry, perfume, leather goods and advertising materials every year. Every day, thousands of packages leave its packaging lines for direct delivery, within 24 to 96 hours, to over 10,000 retailers throughout Europe.

Logistics

The Swatch Group Logistics division is responsible for the development of a global supply chain management system between the various Swatch Group companies. To ensure better control of the sales forecasting process, Swatch Group Logistics works actively with Swatch Group brands and subsidiaries to improve the flow of goods and information between the various players in the global supply chain. Global demand planning, rapid replenishment systems and a common logistics information platform enable brands to react even more quickly to constantly changing demand on the world market.

Corporate Customer Service

Swatch Group places great importance on customer satisfaction, and has strengthened its commitment to them by creating a division entirely dedicated to customer service activities.

Working in coordination with the customer services departments of the various Swatch Group brands, Swatch Group Corporate Customer Service draws up general instructions applicable to all Swatch Group brands and subsidiaries, and carries out regular audits to verify compliance. Based on each audit report, Swatch Group Corporate Customer Service supports subsidiaries and brands in developing and implementing corrective measures.

On request, it also acts as a consultant in all projects involving the organization of local customer service. In addition, Swatch Group Corporate Customer Service manages the Group's shared services in all customer service activities, such as the European service platform for high-end products and the creation of the Group's watchmaking schools in Shanghai (China), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Glashütte and Pforzheim (Germany) and Miami (USA).

Real Estate Development

The Swatch Group Real Estate Development division designs and manages commercial and industrial construction projects worldwide. This is achieved through the services of experienced project managers and talented support staff, as well as the development of proven control systems, all of which are essential for efficient project management. Our technical experience and understanding of the design and construction process enable us to deliver competitively priced projects that meet Swatch Group's time and budget requirements.

Swatch Group Real Estate Development has built up a team of professionals who are experts in the research, conversion and fitting-out of existing buildings, land, monuments and Swatch Group heritage buildings. In the industrial sector, the division carries out planning, renovation and fitting-out projects. It is also responsible for infrastructure development, including the planning and construction of new factories, as well as the management of relocations and the layout of new retail outlets for many Swatch Group brands.

Swatch Group Gems

Swatch Group Gems makes available to all Swatch Group brands the skills of its specialists in gemology as well as in the sourcing and cutting of precious stones. Its mission is to acquire diamonds and gems in order to cover their sourcing needs in this field.
