Job Description

Senthorus is an innovative company specializing in cybersecurity and managed SOC (Security Operations Center) services. We help our clients detect and respond to cyber threats, continuously monitor their systems, and implement best practices to secure their infrastructures. As part of the continuous improvement of our internal environment, we are looking for a motivated intern to work on System & Container Hardening projects.

Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Hardening

Install and configure security tools (Trivy, Lynis, SonarQube) in GitLab CI/CD pipelines to detect vulnerabilities and improve code quality.

Docker Image Hardening

Analyze existing Docker images and migrate to Alpine versions to reduce attack surface and image size.
Apply best security practices: running as a non-root user, limiting privileges, configuring internal firewalls, etc.

Secrets and Certificate Management

Install and configure Vault (HashiCorp) to securely store and manage secrets (passwords, keys, tokens).
Integrate Vault with GitLab CI/CD to dynamically inject secrets into pipelines.
Implement certificate management for web applications (generation, renewal, automated deployment).

Documentation & Training

Write detailed technical documentation on installation, configuration, and security best practices. Required Profile:
Final-year student in an engineering school or master’s program in computer science (systems, networks, cybersecurity).
Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Git, and ideally GitLab CI/CD.
Strong interest in cybersecurity (auditing, hardening, vulnerability management).
Curiosity, autonomy, and initiative to propose continuous improvements. Technical Environment:
Systems: Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine)
Containers: Docker, Docker Compose
CI/CD: GitLab
Security: Trivy, Lynis, SonarQube, Vault
Languages: Shell, Python, YAML
