Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically to contribute to the stability of the risk management environment within Technology Services, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Strategic Technology Risk Management team.

You’ll get to:

• support the implementation of new initiatives for SRM and engage with stakeholders. This will enable you to promptly get to know relevant tools and technologies.
• frequently interact with and provide support to different risk, integration and TS Sector teams across the globe.
• contribute to the development, refinement and implementation of the existing processes.
• maintain design & operating effectiveness of controls and risk management processes through appropriate assessment & documentation.
• generate and document evidence to support adequate and sustainable control execution.
• gather, process and analyze TS risk management data; track and interpret data trends, patterns, anomalies.
• create documentation and step-by-step instructions for processes and projects
• perform clean-up activities on data and align data in multiple systems

Your team

You’ll be working in our UBS Technology Services Strategic Risk team. We‘re responsible for identifying and remediating risks to the firm within the Technology Sector and maintaining the highest possible standard of data and controls.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
• is a process oriented person, following every step of our processes diligently (audit level).
• is a fast learner of new technologies and open to new challenges
• is well organized, detail oriented and has strong prioritization and time management skills
• is skilled in the use of MS Excel, Power Point and has an Outlook skillset
• is working efficiently, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• has the ability to think and act strategically and has strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your program

This paid internship will last 6 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
