Your role
Interested in working in finance, specifically as a wealth management professional serving clients, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint that consistently ranks among the world’s top financial institutions?
We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Global Wealth Management EMEA (Europe Middle East and Africa) business.
You’ll get to:
- collaborate with different teams on strategic and operational projects within risk
- build an understanding of our industry, culture, and strategy, while learning about how we operate to anticipate and manage risks
- leverage artificial intelligence, to further boost existing knowledge within the bank and simplify our processes
- conduct data analysis and generate reports using Alteryx and Excel to support risk assessments.
- develop professionally by establishing a network of mentors and business contacts we believe are some of the best in the business
- attend educational events led by senior leaders that provide extensive exposure and insight into the business
Your team
You’ll be working in our Global Wealth Management team in Zurich. We provide advice-based solutions to deliver products and services designed to address the needs of ultra-high net worth and high-net worth individuals and families. We’ve successfully built the number one wealth management franchise in the world. You’ll work with the best talent in the industry, as we help manage, preserve and grow the wealth of our clients.
The GWM EMEA BRO Governance and Learning Team is responsible for a variety of critical tasks that ensure the effective management and oversight of risk within the organization. One of the primary responsibilities is conducting Quarterly Risk Assessments, which involve evaluating and identifying potential risks to maintain the integrity and stability of operations. The team also plays a crucial role in Risk Governance oversight, ensuring that all risk management practices are in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Additionally, the team assists various locations in the opening and closing of risk issues, providing guidance and support to ensure that these processes are handled efficiently and effectively. They are also involved in the approvals of higher risk client categories, ensuring that all high-risk clients are thoroughly vetted and approved in accordance with the bank’s risk management framework.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- has excellent English (written and oral), fluency in German, preferred
- has proactive and hands-on approach with a “get things done” attitude
- is a proficient user of Alteryx and Excel
- is a proficient user of artificial intelligence, leveraging this expertise to further boost existing knowledge within the bank
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your program
This paid internship will last 9-12 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
