Ready to kickstart your career in Sports Retail with enthusiasm and energy? Decathlon Switzerland is looking for an ambitious Store Leaders in training in the Basel region (and potentially wider German-speaking Switzerland in the future) to join our dynamic team!

In an intensive onboarding and training phase, you’ll learn everything about our company, processes, tools, and the exciting world of retail. Following this period, you’ll have the opportunity to lead a new store or take over an existing one within the Basel region.

• Building your dream team: You’ll lead a large and diverse team, fostering collaboration, developing talents, and creating a positive working atmosphere.
• Strategic planning: You’ll develop and implement local strategies to further develop the store, increase customer satisfaction, and achieve business goals.
• Excellent customer service: You’ll ensure your team delivers outstanding customer service, promotes personal shopping experiences, and provides tailored solutions for our customers.
• Operational efficiency: You’ll optimize store processes, inventory management, and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Omnichannel strategy: You’ll develop and implement a seamless omnichannel strategy to provide our customers with an optimal shopping experience across all channels.
• Local networking: You’ll build strong relationships with sports clubs, local communities, and other stakeholders in the Basel region.

Profil

What we are looking for :

• Decathlon passion: You live and embody our values and are passionate about sports.
• Leadership potential: You have some experience in a leadership role within retail, demonstrating your potential to lead and inspire teams.
• Strategic thinking and initiative: You show a strong business acumen and analytical mindset, are proactive, and have the potential to make strategic decisions.
• Customer focus: You have a strong passion for customer service and are committed to exceeding customer expectations.
• Results-oriented: You are motivated to achieve goals and demonstrate a drive for success in reaching sales and profitability targets.
• Communication skills: You communicate clearly and persuasively and have the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
• Language skills: You are fluent in German (C1) and have a good working knowledge of English (B2). French or other languages are an advantage.
