The Opportunity
We are looking for an intern student with expertise in computational chemistry to contribute to the development of novel insulating materials for high-voltage power grid applications. In this position, you’ll contribute to the development of innovative insulating materials, leveraging cutting-edge computational chemistry tools. This 6- to 12-month internship offers you the chance to play an active role in shaping the future of energy solutions while gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
How you’ll make an impact
- Contributing to technology development and research activities focusing on material analysis and characterization
- Supporting simulations of gas insulation systems using state-of-the-art computational chemistry software
- Investigating the relationship between microstructure and material characteristics, documenting findings and sharing results with the team
Your background
- B.Sc. degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a similar discipline, with a focus on computer-aided methods
- Programming skills and experience in computational chemistry are a plus
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- A team player who is organized, creative, and able to work autonomously
- Laboratory and experimental experience is an asset
