Aufgabe

Decathlon is looking for a dynamic and business-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our leaders and employees in shaping a high-performing and people-centric organization. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner, driving HR initiatives that align with business objectives while fostering a culture of growth, engagement, and operational excellence.

Context :

We are restructuring our HR organization to ensure that each regional director has a dedicated HR point of contact. With this reorganization, we are also looking for an additional HRBP for the German-speaking region to support our continued growth and alignment across all business units.

Your role and your responsabilities :

You will oversee HR operations for the following stores: Baar, Emmen, Davos, Stans, Suhr, and Chur. This role requires mobility to support these locations effectively and build strong relationships with local teams.

1. Strategic HR Leadership

  • Strengthen our local employer brand to become an employer of choice.
  • Foster a performance culture through continuous feedback and calibration meetings.
  • Drive succession planning for team leaders and above, ensuring leadership pipelines are updated quarterly.
  • Take relevant HR actions based on key performance indicators (KPIs) 2. Operational HR Excellence

  • Recruitment: Identify talent needs, source, and select top candidates for team leader roles and above.
  • Business partnership: Collaborate with Store Leaders, Team Leaders, and EXCO members to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Talent management: Ensure a seamless recruitment, onboarding and retention strategy to promote engagement and reduce turnover. It also included to elaborate a succession plan and prepare a talent review.
  • Employee relations: Guide managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and legal compliance.
  • Organizational development: Support training initiatives, leadership development, and change management.
  • HR Compliance and metrics: Ensure adherence to labor laws and leverage HR data to drive informed decisions. 3. HR Expertise and Best Practices

  • Maintain deep knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and industry trends.
  • Utilize HR analytics to drive decision-making and measure impact.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and well-being.

Profil

Your profile:

While an HR background is a plus, it is not a requirement. What truly matters is your ability to drive impact through leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability.

  • Strong business mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and employees
  • Fluency in German and English (Italian and/or French are a strong plus)
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability to drive impact
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Strategic problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to influence and guide leadership effectively
  • High adaptability and ethical practice
  • Proficiency in HR software and data analysis
  • Willingness to travel regularly within your assigned stores (each store once per month).
