Graduate programmes throughout the Pictet Group
- Pictet Asset Management
Our graduate programmes offer a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive view of the asset management industry from marketing and sales to investments, through a series of rotations. Graduate trainees experience between 8 and 10 rotations in a number of international locations over a period of 18 months, enabling them to develop first-hand knowledge and familiarise themselves with our investment teams and our products. They gain exposure to a wide range of experts within the firm and form part of our international graduate network. They also have the opportunity to develop their soft skills through individually tailored training programmes, helping them to deepen their personal branding and communication skills. On the technical side, they prepare for the CFA level 1 and level 2 qualification during the programme. - Pictet Wealth Management
Our 24-month graduate programmes offer a unique opportunity to develop strong competencies in the wealth management industry while quickly specialising on one function. Applicants may select from one of two Pictet Wealth Management graduate programmes: Investments and Etats-Major. During the programme, our graduates work within one dedicated team, and a series of short rotations is planned to build complementary skills, develop first-hand knowledge and familiarise themselves with our activities. They gain exposure to a wide range of experts within the firm and form part of an international graduate network. On the technical side, they prepare for a specific certification, while the Group Graduate Training Programme aims to develop their soft skills. By the end, graduates should be fully prepared to take ownership of the position for which they have been trained. - Pictet Asset Services
The programme allows graduates to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of our asset services business while also training in a specific function. During the 24-month programme, graduates work within one team, involved either in client support or in operations or tax project management. A series of short rotations helps graduates build complementary skills, develop first-hand knowledge and become familiarised with our activities, teams and financial products. - Pictet Alternative Advisors
Our graduate programmes offer a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive view from various angles of the alternative investments industry, comprising real estate, private equity and hedge funds. During the 24-month programme, successful applicants will cover investments, client relationships, project management and corporate functions (finance, risk management, compliance, legal and strategy), as well as being trained in a specific function so that they can become specialists in their area of responsibility. Apart from on-the-job training, graduates will study for a recognised professional certification and complete a series of training courses aimed at enhancing their communication skills, personal branding and leadership qualities. The graduate programmes may be available at our offices in Geneva, Singapore, Luxembourg and London. - Pictet Trading & Sales
Our Graduate programme in a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the trading activity. During the programme, our graduates work on one dedicated team and have the opportunity to do a few immersions on the trading floor, the aim being to build complementary skills, develop first-hand knowledge and familiarise themselves with our activities. The programme is also made up of two rotations in different Pictet Group units and departments. Our graduates have access to a wide range of experts in the firm, gain a thorough grasp of the activities conducted on the trading floor. This programme is an excellent foundation for starting your career with PTS. In 2024, Pictet Trading & Sales will open a position in Montreal. - Technology & Operations
The Technology & Operations graduate programmes offer a variety of opportunities to develop in-depth skills and knowledge in banking operations, innovation, digital, lean management, agile methodology, data science, business analysis or project management. This programme is the perfect path for graduates in IT, business or data analysis, with strong programming skills or database management competencies. At the end of the programme, you will take up a position where your strengths, competencies and the knowledge you gained during the rotational programme will be most valued as far as our business needs are concerned. The graduate programmes may be available at our offices in Geneva and Luxembourg. - Corporate functions
Corporate Functions include the Group's non-banking activities, such as Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance, Communication, Information Security and Human Resources, both in Geneva and at our branches abroad. These functions are carried out by experts who work closely with the different business lines. Our Graduate programmes, available mainly in Geneva and Luxembourg, give you the opportunity to discover the work of these units. In addition to being mentored by professionals, who will pass on their know-how to you, the programme you follow will be varied and enable you to get to know different services and activities and add to your existing skills.
Trainee programmes
For a new graduate, we offer specific trainee programmes that will prepare you for a career in a specific sector. Currently there are two programmes available, in IT and in Compliance. Trainees who successfully complete the 12 or 18 months programme may be offered a full-time position at Pictet according to business needs.
IT Experience programme
This course offers the opportunity to put your IT qualifications and skills to work and gain hands-on experience amongst our 300 IT professionals.

- Each of the three courses include a series of 4 to 6 months internships within different IT departments

Compliance All Round programme
This programme offers you the opportunity to find out about the work of Compliance functions by working with the different teams in the Compliance Client Accounts Services & Investigations (CASI) Department in Geneva.

We accept applications twice a year in September/October (for a programme starting in February), and in April/May (for a programme starting in August).
Internship programmes
Our sought after intership programmes allow you to find out about working life, gain pratical experience and take your first steps to a rewarding career in the sector of your choice.
As an intern you will be given a direct, immersive experience in a particular business area of Pictet. You will discover what the day-to-day operations of a business are really like. And you will gain pratical and transferable skills, valuable in your future career.
What is your profile?- Students from universities or engineering school
- Completion of a minimum of four terms of a Bachelor degree or enrolment in a Master’s degree
- You wish to validate a degree or acquire hands-on experience.

Vocational training
Our vocational training programmes, which lead to the award of a Certificat fédéral de capacité (CFC) — Federal vocational education and training certificate, are an opportunity for you to train and learn a profession. They will allow you to continue your development by giving you entry to higher education.
- Maturité professionnelle commerciale (MPC)
Are you in the Maturité professionnelle (MPC) stream at a business school. Do you have top school grades and a keen interest in banking? In the long term, are you thinking of going on to do higher studies (vocational training or university)? If so, the Maturité professionnelle programme is for you. Throughout the programme, you will work closely with experienced professionals, who will share their expertise with you. Very soon you will be entrusted with tasks of your own.
- Banking apprenticeship
Have you just completed your compulsory schooling with excellent results? Do you have good knowledge of English? And are you keen to find out more about the world of finance? If so, why not apply for a banking apprenticeship? Throughout the course, our qualified trainers will be alongside you. They will ensure their knowledge is shared with you in a manner that meets the highest standards, as well as providing you with the follow-up you need from day one. Your professional, social and personal skills will be assessed regularly to measure your progress and ensure your apprenticeship is a success.
- Haute Ecole de Gestion (Tech&Ops Junior programme)
