Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically investment banking, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our investment banking Execution Hub COO business.

You’ll get to:

• support and work together with the global trading and sales desks on various topics (new product initiatives, front-to-back controls ad-hoc surveys, trade data analysis)
• collaborate with front-to-back functions (IT, Finance, Compliance, Operations etc.)
• collaborate with global Business Managers (located in Zurich, London, New York, Singapore) to run key IB regulatory controls and help on various day-to-day tasks
• work on ad-hoc projects to increase efficiency in areas such as regular analysis, reporting processes and controls
• work with senior management across the business to analyze, develop, and implement strategic solutions to improve and enhance business models

You’ll be working in the IB Global Markets Execution Hub COO Business Management team in Opfikon, near Zürich. Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably with a focus on Banking and Finance, Economics or Business Administration)
• has previous internship experience in banking or similar
• has keen interest in financial markets, numbers, models, and products
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• has excellent command of English (in written and oral form)
• has good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Your program

This paid internship will last 6-12 months (12 months availability is preferred). You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
