Our work frequently involves highly sensitive engagements, which gain regulatory scrutiny and media attention.

We are currently expanding our Forensic practice and are seeking talented, highly motivated, and innovative practitioners with strong interest in the area of financial crime prevention and forensics investigations. Our team is looking for people passionate about using their skills to protect individuals, organizations and markets from financial crime, investigate perceived fraudulent behaviour and remediate regulatory issues. As we cover the complete spectrum of financial crime and forensics services - from eDiscovery and data analytics to regulatory advice and investigation we value your dedication, flexibility, desire to develop and thinking skills higher than your field of study.

As a Consultant within Forensics you will collaborate with a diverse group of talented professionals across our firm, build a strong global professional network and interact directly with our clients. You will be trained in all relevant aspects of our business and have the chance to work on a variety of different projects. Responsibilities might include:

  • Collecting, preserving, and analysing data to find the facts that help our fraud investigators and legal counsel establish what happened, when it happened, who did it, how they did it, and the extent of the misappropriation or misconduct.
  • Assessing a client’s fraud risk to develop fraud-prevention policies, processes and systems.
  • Developing anti-money-laundering models using statistics and AI, tailored to the business of a client and the regulatory requirements in all the international locations the client is operating in.
  • Investigating a data breach at a client by identifying potential source systems, analysing system access, the timeline of events and proposing measures to prevent future similar events.
  • Conducting third-party due-diligence to help a client to stay compliant with sustainability regulations and ensure the client’s suppliers comply with human rights and environmental laws.

Who we are looking for

  • You have a strong interest in fighting financial crime to protect individuals, organizations and markets.
  • You are willing to invest in continuous learning to get up to speed quickly and stay on top of a dynamically changing business environment and take on tasks flexibly as required by engagements and clients.
  • You are curious, show excellent analytical thinking skills, love to take on responsibility, and can handle the pressure of delivering quality results to demanding timescales.
  • You have or are in the process of completing a Master’s degree or PhD in Law, Economics, Social Science, a STEM subject or other related fields of study;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills English and German for Zurich based / French for Geneva based candidates. Additional languages are a strong advantage.
