Your role

Interested in working in finance, specifically investment banking, but not sure where to start? Are you analytical and passionate about numbers, communications and sales? Are you interested in Business Administration and eager to learn about Investment Banking sales and Markets? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our investment banking business.

You’ll get to:

  • take ownership of high-quality reporting and communications, delivering focused, timely, consistent, and clear inputs.
  • contribute to the Global Markets sales strategy for Global Wealth Management and Investment Banking by executing and tracking strategic priorities while maintaining the operational framework and risk governance in collaboration with our key stakeholders.
  • drive and develop diverse (strategic) projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance our day-to-day operations.
  • support the preparation of presentations for Senior Management and the business.

Your team

You will be part of a young & dynamic Global Markets IB COO Distribution team, based in Opfikon, Zurich. Positioned at the heart of the trading floor, our team supports both Global Markets Wealth Management and Investment Banking sales force in Switzerland and EMEA, providing a unique opportunity to gain exposure across both divisions. We work closely with senior stakeholders, control functions, Sales & Trading across the Markets. From day one, you’ll make a difference while gaining exposure to multiple parts of our organization, with the option to participate in desk rotations. Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in economics or business administration)
  • has excellent written & oral skills in English; fluency in other languages is preferred
  • has strong Microsoft Office skills i.e., Excel, Word and Power-Point
  • has previous internship experience, preferably in financial services
  • has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
  • is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
  • is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Start Date: 1st July 2025

Your program

This paid internship will last 6-12 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.

If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
