Interested in working financial services, specifically enjoying consulting and leading digital transformation projects? Are you passionate about developing and applying classical as well as more advanced risk models? Do you have an interest in latest technologies like: Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Automation, and Advanced Analytics?

We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Group Internal Consulting Graduate Talent Program.

You’ll get to:

  • contribute to Quant / modelling projects for all business divisions and functions considering the latest technological trends especially within the AI & Advanced Analytics space
  • help to build awareness, assess opportunities for new modelling techniques, and assist in solution design as part of both client projects and internally focused initiatives
  • work effectively with diverse teams to develop the best solution

Your team

You’ll be working in Group Internal Consulting located in Zurich. We’re a dynamic, driven, and diverse team with over 750 people present in 5 regions across the globe. As part of the firm’s Group Integration Office, we work in close partnership with all divisions and functions to drive transformation and change across UBS, supporting the firm in achieving its strategic goals.

Your expertise

We’re looking for a candidate who:

  • has completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree no longer than 18 months prior to the program start date
  • has foundational experience in classical programming languages such as Phyton, R, SAS, or Matlab
  • has exposure to one or more of the following areas is a plus: machine Learning, Big Data, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Information Extraction & Classification; data Preparation & Cleansing, Data Mining and Visualization; chatbots (e.g., NLU / intent recognition, dialogue modelling)
  • has initial experience in financial engineering, econometrics, or risk modelling is an advantage
  • is interested in the financial services industry and energized by working in fast-paced environments with high expectations and tight deadlines
  • has analytical skillset with the ability to think strategically
  • has strong written communication and presentation skills
  • is proficient in written and spoken English, other languages a plus
  • has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
  • is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your program

Our Graduate Talent Program is 18 months long and is designed to help you develop the skills you need to grow your career. To start, the program introduces you to our firm, provides professional and technical training and teaches you core skills and knowledge of global markets. And it continues from there: by learning from your colleagues, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and build your network. You’ll have the opportunity to see beyond your job by participating in one, or more, rotations. If you’re ready to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
