Your role
Interested in working in finance, specifically as a wealth management professional serving clients, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint that consistently ranks among the world’s top financial institutions?
We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Global Wealth Management business.
You’ll get to:
- contribute to broader people engagement initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall employee experience across the Global Wealth Management Europe, Middle East and Africa business unit (GWM EMEA)
- assist in designing, coordinating, and executing initiatives that help junior talents thrive in their early careers
- collaborate with HR and hiring managers to identify talent needs, build a robust talent pipeline, and streamline recruitment strategies
- support in developing and implementing internal communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and motivated
- coordinate and track the bank merger progress within the different sectors
- participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency
Your team
You’ll be working in the GWM EMEA People Engagement team in Zürich. The team is a core function that drives people development within GWM EMEA, fostering business growth and ensuring top-tier client satisfaction. We work across the organization to empower junior talents, support and create talent development programs, and enhance our company’s ability to attract, develop, and retain the best minds. Our mission is to build a thriving talent pipeline while cultivating an environment where people excel, connect and grow.
People Engagement Team
As an integral part of the team you will gain an excellent overview of talent development programs within GWM EMEA. You will be fully involved in dedicated engagement and development topics and build strong connections with the different EMEA markets as well as gain senior management exposure and network.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- has excellent English (written and oral), German and any other language would be an asset
- has a good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
We’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving. We welcome all majors, but it’s important to have an interest in the financial industry. We want to see what makes you unique and discover what you can bring to our team.
Start Date: January 2025
Your program
This paid internship will last 6-12 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
