Your role
Are you interested in working in finance and have an eye for detail, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?
We are looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program within our Group Sustainability and Impact.
You’ll get to:
- work with ESG data to analyze UBS’ performance against our peers, making recommendations on areas for improvements
- research emerging sustainability topics and their relevance to UBS
- support on the design of analytical tools to drive client engagement on sustainability topics
Your team
You will be part of Group Sustainability and Impact, a centralized team of sustainability professionals overseeing and coordinating UBS’ sustainability and impact strategy. In the Chief Sustainability Office’s specialized Sustainability Analytics team, you will play a key role in supporting the development of analytical tools and capabilities that support our sustainability strategy and client engagement. Working with large ESG data sets, you will help produce valuable insights into our own sustainability performance, as well as that of our clients. You will interact with sustainability specialists across UBS’ business divisions and group functions as part of a diverse, multi-national team.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- is currently enrolled in studies and will graduate in late 2025 or 2026
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is interested in sustainability and sustainable finance
- enjoys working with data and takes an analytical approach to solving problems
- has some experience working with tools such as MS excel and ideally a programming language such as SQL or python
- has completed at least four semesters of their bachelor’s degree or has obtained a master’s degree within the last six months.
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines

Your program
During your 10-week paid internship, you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm.
You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
