Your role
Interested in working in finance, specifically to support business clients, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?
We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our Corporate and Institutional Clients (CIC) business in Switzerland. You’ll get to:
- Support various business areas and contribute to a seamless client experience.
- Assist in the custody-related onboarding of Institutional Clients and their asset managers.
- Help coordinate the setup of new products and the migration of securities by liaising with settlements teams, external custodians, and counterparties.
- Screen, organize, and prepare contractual documents to support client advisors and relationship managers.
- Assist in planning and executing client asset transfers while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Your team
You will be part of the Asset Servicing team, specifically within the Migration & Due Diligence project, which focuses on integrating former Credit Suisse clients onto UBS platforms.
Asset Servicing is responsible for the network of relationships with third party post trade providers including agent banks and market utilities that UBS contracts with to provide custody, clearing, and settlement services. AS is responsible for provider strategy, commercial management, delivery of cost savings, account inventory maintenance, processing of invoices, allocation of charges within the organization, market intelligence, and adherence to regulatory requirements. Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree)
- has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
- has an analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- has interest in digitalization and financial technology.
- has strong attention to detail and ability to work with large financial datasets.
- has the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- is willing to work independently using provided instructions and templates.
- is available for on-call support if required.
- speaks fluent English. German or French skills are a plus to support non-English speaking clients.

Your program
This paid internship will last six to eight months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
