Your role
Interested in working in finance, specifically investment banking, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?
We’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Off-cycle Internship Program within our investment banking Distribution COO business.
You’ll get to:
- perform tasks relevant for the distribution of Global Market products as Structured Products, EQ, FI, FX
- conduct controlling and supervisory tasks
- help to analyze and implement new financial regulations impacting Global Market products
- clarify legal, compliance questions related to Global Markets financial products
- support ad-hoc projects to increase efficiency for regular analysis, reporting processes and controls
Your team
You’ll be working in Investment Banking Distribution COO. We collaborate across the Investment Bank, Wealth Management and Asset Management to enhance our front-to-back delivery, while standardizing and simplifying processes.
Your IB Global Markets Distribution COO Regulatory, Risk & Product Management team is located in Opfikon, near Zürich.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
- has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor’s degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably with a focus on business administration, banking and finance, law or similar)
- has previous internship experience, preferably in financial services
- has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
- fluency in English is required, German is a plus
- has good command of Excel

Your program
This paid internship will last 6-12 months (12 months availability is preferred). You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You’ll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you’ve completed your studies.
